Additional Information

More information and 2025 entry standards will be available nearer the time via below website.
Track & Field Championships – English Schools’ Athletic Association (esaa.org.uk)

County Entry deadline is normally 2 weeks prior to the event, so all athletes would need to have achieved the required standard at least by Mid to 3rd week June.

Achieving the standard does not guarantee your selection as the team is limited to 32 athletes only, therefore other factors i.e. consistency of performance, recent form particularly if the standard was achieved much earlier, national ranking , performance at the WSAA Championships and Inter County etc. would be discussed.

On the rare occasion we find we have less than 32 gaining the entry standard selectors may look closely at providing an opportunity to a fast improving and dedicated athlete who has not only been fractionally away from the standard but features well in national rankings.

The selected team would be required to attend both days of the event and stay as a team in hotel accommodation for 2 nights.

Warwickshire is a Group C County and can take a team of 32 athletes to the championships across the below age groups:

Junior – Year 8 & 9 combined

Inters – Year 10 & 11 combined.

Seniors – Year 12 & 13 combined
