About Combined Events In Track & Field

An excellent 2 days of athletics from which we have had great success yearly with teams /individuals progressing to the regional,  national round and even England representation.

This is a competition for Year 7 through to Year 13. Individuals and/or teams can be entered.

Additional Information

Entry by Schools into WSAA (via email) , there is an entry fee per team. Details will be sent out to schools nearer the time.

Individuals and/or teams can be entered.

The Intermediate and Senior age groups may have teams of 4 with 3 to count. 

Schools may enter teams of 3 in the Year 7 and Junior age groups.

QUADRATHLON:
Day 1 – Year 7 Boys: 80m, Long Jump, Shot, 600m
Day 2 – Year 7 Girls: 80m, Long Jump, Shot, 600m

PENTATHLON
Day 1 – Year 8 & 9 Boys: 80mH, Shot, High Jump, Long Jump, 800m
Day 2 – Year 8 & 9 Girls: 75mH, Shot, High Jump, Long Jump, 800m  

HEPTATHLON:
Day 1 – Year 10 & 11 Girls: 80m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot, 200m
Day 2 – Year 10 & 11 Girls: Long Jump, Javelin, 800m
Day 1 – Year 12 & 13 Girls: 100m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot, 200m
Day 2 – Year 12 & 13 Girls: Long Jump, Javelin, 800m

OCTATHLON:
Day 1 – Year 10 & 11 Boys: Long Jump, Discus, Javelin, 400m
Day 2 – Year 10 & 11 Boys: 100m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot, 1500m

DECATHLON:
Day 1 – Year 12 & 13 Boys: 100m, Long Jump, Shot, High Jump, 400m
Day 2 – Year 12 & 13 Boys: 110m Hurdles, Discus, Pole Vault. Javelin, 1500m.

Each athlete scores points based on time/distance/height achieved which is then totalled for an overall result. First 3 per age group and overall best school team will be awarded medals.

Following the county first round, a Warwickshire team will be selected to represent the county at the regional midland round.
